What Is Stiff Tea?

Kombucha is a type of fermented tea normally sold as an alternative to sugary soft drinks.

But we know it can be more.

At Stiff Tea, we brew kombucha and ferment it again to make it boozy.

It's still kombucha, just grown up and for when you want to have fun, not hold back.

Brewed Different. On Purpose.

OUR PROCESS

Most drinks are mixed. Ours are brewed.

We start with quality tea and live cultures, letting fermentation do the hard work. The result is a drink that’s crisp, vibrant and naturally layered with flavour.

Got Questions?

Everything you need to know about our brews, delivery and more.

  • Hard kombucha is what happens when you take kombucha and referment it to make it boozy.

From start to finish we go through a three separate fermentation processes that result in a fully fermented alcoholic drink with real depth, not something mixed together after the fact.

  • Our brews are all distinctly different whilst being unified by the funkyness, acidity and complexity of our starter culture. Expect bold, expressive flavours with real depth, closer to sour beer or natural wine than a soft drink.

  • Cold. Straight from the can or poured into a glass if you’re feeling civilised. Some people enjoy our brews with ice, and we’re not going to stop them.

It also pairs well with indulgent food like burgers and fried chicken, or even a cheese and charcuterie board. Anything that needs something sharp and refreshing to cut through it.

  • Because we don’t need to. We aren’t trying to mix the products from other breweries or distilleries - we are brewers and fermentation enthusiasts, so the alcohol in our brews comes from fermentation, not adding in afterwards.

Adding spirits is quicker and simpler, but It’s just not how we do things. Simple.
